Powder flask

Description
Nineteenth century die-stamped production gunpowder flask. It was used to contain and measure out gunshot powder. It is made of copper and brass with a flutted decoration. The form is a flattened tear drop shape, with side seams. The lid screws on and it has a thumb catch shutter on the lid. The measure screws onto the lid.
