Maroon dress with gold-silk thread and underdress and bolero. This garment belonged to a set of tailored clothes worn c. 1920s–1940 by Elise Bullock, whose husband Alfred owned a timber business in Hamilton (A.E. Bullock and Sons). The couple was prominent in local affairs and lived at 6 Clifton Rd, Claudelands.

(Length was taken from the highest point to the lowest point of skirt. Width has been taken from the skirt laid out flat, at full width.)
3. Bolero- 370 x 690 mm
(Length was taken from the highest point to the bottom of balero. Width was taken from the widest points of sleeves.)
