 Description
Man's 18 carrat gold pocket watch. Glass gold rimmed front cover with gold engraved outside on rear cover. Gold dial face with black Roman numerals and seconds dial at bottom centre. Floral engraving in centre of dial face at top half. Hour and minute hands are black with an ornate design near ends. Refer to 1989/35/9 receipt of purchase for the watch. It is a 1836 20 pound receipt for purchase of a gold watch. Purchased by Mr Byron Griffiths 24 December 1836.
