The Evening Standard Drama Award was presented to Richard O'Brien in 1973 for Best Musical for the London production of The Rocky Horror Show wand was gifted to the City of Hamilton by Richard O'Brien following the opening of the Hamilton season of the Rocky Horror Show, Oct 8th 2005.

At the function following the opening night of the Rocky Horror show, Richard O'Brien presented the Mayor with The Evening Standard Drama award he was given in 1973 as a gift to the city. This small statuette has been on display at Founders Theatre during the season of Rocky Horror Show.
