Watercolour of a store-front in Hamilton which once used to be the Bank of New Zealand. This work is one of a number of precise 'photo-real' watercolour paintings by the artist Aubrey de Lisle of historic buildings in Hamilton.

Aubrey de Lisle was an architect as well as an artist. His love of architecture takes on a social historical aspect in his watercolour works. His architectural eye became a time lapse camera lens over a changing Waikato.
