Description
A small bowl-shaped headpiece with a natural fibre base. The sides consist of layered strips of palm leaf dyed deep red. The split rotan rim is dyed black and held together with natural fibre stitching. The top is layered with textiles and geometric detailing. The cap is decorated with white beading, possibly shell or ceramic. Asian origin.
