"New Bowl" (apira) with a nautilus shell inlay. Heads of two fish form lugs, with the tails meeting up at the top of bowl. Fine example of the intricate, clever and attractive work for which the San Cristobal are famous. Handles are formed to suggest fish bodies and tails.
