"THIS SIGNAL SHALL BE ACKNOWLED BY SINGALLING 4" "THE OPERATOR SHALL GIVE 2 RINGS OR KNOCKS BEFORE ALLOWING FULL SKIPS TO DESCEND INCLINE." sign removed from Mahons Mine, Rotowaro, in May 1985 just prior to mine closedown.
