 Description
A cast metal sign painted black, reads "NZ STATE COAL MINES" "SIGNAL NOTICE" "ENDLESS ROPE HAULAGE" "TO STOP RING 1" "TO START RING 2". This sign was in use at Mahon's mine, Rotowaro until closure in 1985. (note Acc no 1985/42/15 is exactly the same sign but is in better condition).
