Biography
Raymond McIntyre was initially a Christchurch-based artist who left England in 1909, where he became a successful expatriate artist, showing his works with the major painters of the day. Although he trained at the Canterbury School of Art during the Victorian period, he was always open to new influences - his later works showed the fashionable influence of Japanese prints.
