German Uhlan cavalry helmet

Description
This German 'Pickelhaulbe' (or bonnet-style) helmet is made of solid black leather with a gilt metal trim. It has the large Prussian eagle emblem at the front and a metal spike on the top. By 1915, the signature spike had been made detachable due to the problem of its visibility to enemies in the trenches.
