Army officer hat, 4th (Waikato) Mounted Rifles

Description
This army officer hat is made of a wool serge material with linen lining and a leather inner rim. It has a composite visor and is decorated with a metal badge. The colour is khaki and the shape is round. It has a flat crown with stiffened sides of smaller diameter. A leather strap lies on rim above peak with two eyelets on each side. Belonged to a member of the 4th (Waikato) Mounted Rifles.
