Description
This unusual kettle was brought to New Zealand by the donor's mother when she fled from Russia during the 1917 Revolution.

The kettle is brass plated, with a copper bottom and it has a porcelain grip on the handle. The shape is a flattish 'pudding basin' with a raised ring around the base and rim. It has an 'S' shape spout. The handle is distinctive with a looped exaggerated bend, riveted to the body and it folds down.
