Description
This hand crafted container has been hollowed out by hand from a walnut burr wood form. A small flat piece of wood has been attached to one side of the hollow opening then a brass hinge has been connected to this flat wood piece. A larger piece of flat wood has been connected to the other side of the hinge to form a lid. All pieces of wood are from the same tree or species). It has been polished and varnished in some areas. In the hinged side there are two silver plaques.
