Description
Carved circular Brooch made from Irish Bog oak Wood. (see Research & Attribution for details on Irish Bog Oak). Outside edge of brooch is carved out to form seperate segments, known as a dental edge. The centre of the brooch is raised with a twisted rope design around the outside edge. "M I Z P A H" letters are placed around the centre and in the very centre is a symbol/ intaials.
History/Notes: Belonged to Mrs Eleanor Friar, mother of donor
