Description
Kauri gum bible made by a Dalmatian who worked for W.A. Gordon at Whangamarino. He was working on roads and c.1915 Mr Gordon let him & his family live in his farmhouse at Whangamarino. When they left they gave the bible to Mr Gordon in thanks. The gum would have been collected up north.
