 Description
Etching aquatint by Ruth Davey titled 'Dancer, I' (5/35). Work began on Dancer 1 and Dancer 2 in 1978 at Lowick House. The imagery comes from Cycladic art and Coptic tapestries which Ruth had viewed in Athens. This was combined with memories of Australian and NZ landscapes.
