Description
A white canvas banner with red embroidery and red tassels. Handmade by Noela McCann, a member of the club. The decorations are made of felt stitched onto the canvas. The banner reads 'Nawton Square Dancers' and the decorations include a circle looped through a square, a dancing couple and a star. Nawton Square Dance Group was founded in Hamilton at St Mark's Church Hall, Avalon Drive, on 27 May 1981. The club closed on 27th November 2019 after 38 and a half years of existence.
