Possible police-issue firearm made by W.H. Tisdall, Birmingham, in 1872. NZ Pattern Snider Constabularly carbine, breechloading .577 single-shot barrel. The carbine was owned by Constable Fred Wild (b. 1846). Wild belonged to Waikato Militia, Armed Constabularly, New Zealand Police.
