Description
This black evening dress (possibly a maternity dress) has diamante studs and glass beads. It belonged to a set of tailored clothes worn c.1920s–1940 by Elise Bullock, whose husband Alfred owned a timber business in Hamilton (A.E. Bullock and Sons). The couple was prominent in local affairs and lived at 6 Clifton Rd, Claudelands.
