Large brown Mayoral chair belonging to James Shiner Bond. Long backrest with plain vinyl cover on back. Squared legs with squared feet. Heavily padded and rolled arms.

Chair was a gift from Mayoress Bond to reciprocate the gift of a presentation silver cradle gifted by the Burgesses’ of Hamilton to Mayoress Bond on the occasion of her giving birth while her husband held public office as Mayor of Hamilton Borough Council
