Description
Ladies full-length lined cotton gabardine tea gown / maternity dress which buttons down the centre front. The garment is made of a rich salmon-pink coloured cotton with cream lace trim at the sleeves, frill and collar. Label on the inside neck reads "Lock S & S Stitch For Fit and Finish". The dress has a mandarin collar, pleated yoke with a gathered frill and a puff sleeve with a gathered frill at ends. The back has gathered pleats. This dress was worn by Edith Gillett, great-grandmother of Raewyn Sing and Heather Major (sisters).
