Envelope for use while on "Active Service" which belonged to Archibald Thomas Waters who was part of the New Zealand Expeditionary Force - 43rd Reinforcements New Zealand Field Artillery.
Correspondence which usually would have been put in the envelope was sent to the Base Censor. He would have been a soldier on active service.
