Badge – New Zealand Military Police
Description
New Zealand Military Police badge which belonged to John or William Storry of Collingwood Street, Hamilton. The New Zealand Military Police Unit was formed in 1915 and served in all theatres of war as mounted military police, but not as foot police. The unit was disbanded after the Armistice declaration and reformed with the outbreak of WWII.
