 Description
One of a series of photographs taken of the Hamilton Somali community, largely during the month of Ramadan in 2005. Commissioned by Waikato Museum for the Rare View Exhibition, photographs by Mark Hamilton in 2005. The photographs formed the basis of the exhibition "Rare View: A glimpse into Hamilton's Somali community" and was exhibited at the Waikato Museum from Dec 2005 – March 2006. The exhibition next toured to Tetuhi – The Mark, Manukau City, 28 Feb – 14 April 2007.
