Description
Watercolour on paper of rolling hills and a seaside scene. Frank Wright (1860–1923) studied art in London before migrating to New Zealand with his mother and younger brother, Walter, also an artist, in 1877. They settled in Auckland and the two brothers set up "Wright's Studios", which taught many later successful painters. Frank's works were mainly landscapes in watercolour.
