Description
This landscape painting has a hard-edge realism and abstract style. It shows an iconic view of the monumental snow-capped Mount Taranaki (Egmont) in the background. In the foreground is the Alfred Road bridge also a towering construction. The trout fish swims in the river. The colour palette is predominately jewel-like shades of greens and blue worked in a highly polished finish.
