 Description
Medal was awarded to N.Z. troopers who served in Samoa on 27 Aug 1914 and in Gallipoli and Egypt between 5 Aug and 31 Dec 1915.The ships company of H.M.S. Philomel also qualified for the medal.The medal is attached to a ribbon that is red, blue and white. The medal is in the shape of a star with a crown on the top, it has two swords crossing over and the date 1914-1915 on it.
