Description
A Chinese skull-cap with a black, silk-like exterior. Six triangular divisions meet in the centre to form a spherical shape. A small orange ball is attached at the crown. The inside is lined with a bright red fabric.
These skull caps were worn in China until the 1940s and were also referred to as guan pimao or melon cap (xiao mao).
