Photographs taken in 1987 and 1989 by commissioned photographer, David Cook for use in the 2000 Shifting Ground: Stories from Rotowaro exhibition. Images depict the same scene taken two years apart in 1987 & 1989. The upper print shows three single story wooden buildings (on the left) receding into the distance. There is a path, a road and a series of power poles to the right of the houses. Further buildings and hills can be seen in the distance. The lower print shows the same line of hills, power poles and roadway but all buildings are gone.
