Spear thrower

Description
Spear thrower, curved with handle. Usually made from the trunk of mulga tree (acacia). Thin, concave and shaped like a long leaf. Spear peg at tip is sharpened piece of hardwood (mukulpa) lashed with kangaroo sinew. At distil end is stone adze flake (kanti) set in spinifex resin (kiti). Reddish brown colour.
