Sword and sheath

Description
A forged metal blade with a handle carved out of an antler. The handle is heavily and intricately carved at the top and then etched in design down the neck before being bound by a strips of plaited fibre.The handle is representative of an animal head. The sheath is made of two lengths of wood bound together with split bamboo and has a rope handle attached. Formerly a war weapon.
