Sword and sheath

Description
The sword itself is made from forged steel and is etched with a paisley type design 100mm along the upperside of the blade from the handle. The last 100mm of the blade has further decoration. The handle is a very intricately carved antler with a hair tuft protruding from the top. The neck of the handle is bound with two strips of plaited natural fibre.
The sheath consists of two lengths of wood bound together with natural fibre and has an intricately carved 260mm decorative panel on one side.
