Basket
Description
This wicker worked basket is generously round in shape with a fitted lid and a hard handle. Large raffia star or flower motifs decorate the basket and lid. Raffia work is green, red, black, yellow, brown colours. The bottom of the basket is decorated with a large star shaped length of raffia in red and yellow. The basket was collected by the late Rev David Osborne, a missionary, who spent much time in the Sudan Interior Mission and Niger Republic.
