Description
A festive hat with a wide brim of approximately 70mm, covered in metal sequins and patches of coloured embroidery. On the crown of the hat is a decorative top made of numerous springs, two one-cent Bolivian coins and five different coloured beads. A red felt trim is found around the bottom of the brim and halfway up, between the crown and the brim. The original catalogue sheet suggests the hat was once lined with black velvet. Lining is now missing.
