Untitled [Still Life on Black Ground]

Maker
Margot Leonie Luise Philips
Description
One of a series of works given by the artist to Enid Claris during the 1970s. It was Margot's intention that children at the Waikato Society of Arts classes use the versos to paint on. Enid Claris kept them, however, much to Margot's dismay and anger. It is with Margot's blessing that they became an archive collection stored in the Waikato Museum of Art and History.
