Sovereign purse

Description
Leather and metal sovereign purse, has a clasp to hang on a chain.
Possibly used by a female.
The colour is red leather on the exterior and yellow interior.
It is a folding purse form, with a hinged frame, ball clip.
There is a ring for a chain on one side and a centre plate with two round sovereign holders. The holders have sprung plates.

The sovereign purse, was used through the 1800's, and carried English gold coins.
