Bowl – apira

Maker
Silas Saru
Description
Apira of two frigate birds. He calls this an apira-ni-fefene (woman's bowl) because the original design was made to sacrifice to the female god Kariinga who came out of Waumauma's blood. Silas has followed the same basic design of bowl used by Kafanata for sacrificing to kariinga.
