Bowl – apira guana
Maker
James Rofoil
Description
"New Bowl" (apira guana) with a nautilus shell inlay. Fish either end, probably bonito. Santa Catalina carvers specialise in ceremonial bowls like this one. Handles are typical of this style of Santa Catalina, in that they are integrated into the body of the bowl.
