Description
Bamboo tongs used for grabbing hot sticks from umu. "Umu" is a kind of an oven for cooking food made from hot stones and dampened leaves – cooks food by steaming. Made in a mound of stones above ground with the food being below ground level. Similar to a hangi. Made by Kaparasuka, Natagena Village.
