Ink bottle

Description
This earthenware bottle was made to contain ink. It possibly was used with a quill or stylus to write. It was mass manufactured for everyday use during the late nineteenth century. It has a cylinder shape form with a narrow neck and straight shoulders and is glazed a tan colour.
