Description
Korowai made from muka (processed flax fibre). The feathers in the top band are kiwi and kereru. The body of the cloak is decorated with hukahuka (two-ply thrums) and single kereru feathers. The bottom is finished with a band of white and dark green kereru feathers followed by a taniko border, a woven pattern interlaced with black dyed muka, and a tassel fringe.
