Siberian squirrel fur necklet
Description
Siberian squirrel necklet made from five pelts which are sewn into two squirrels. The first squirrel has a clasp under the chin which fastens the necklet together. There are two legs and a tail at the rear. The head of the second squirrel is joined to the end of the body of the first squirrel. It has no feet but two tails and a cord which fastens into the clasp to close the necklet. The first squirrel is three pelts long and the second squirrel is two pelts. Fur stoles were very popular in fashion in the early 20th century.
