Description
Aigugu (scraper) from the Solomon Islands for peeling yams etc., made of black tipped pearl. Yams are staple food. Also taro (introduced from New Zealand), coconut, fish and various wild nuts, birds and roots. Yams have one annual crop but store well. Yams do not store well but can be planted and dug all year round.
