Description
Taxidermy mounted specimen of a shining cuckoo / nakonako (Chrysococcyx lucidus). The shining cuckoo is a small bird, weighing about 23 g and measuring 16 cm. Its plumage is iridescent green back and wings, with a black and white striped front.
