Description
Henry and Louisa Greenslade purchased the land for their house in 1911. Greenslade House, as it became known, was completed in 1912, designed by the architect, John Warren. The house was sold a number of times over the following years and remains a significant historic landmark on the Waikato River. This work is one of a number of precise 'photo-real' watercolour paintings by the artist Aubrey de Lisle of historic buildings in Hamilton.
